Rizzani de Eccher was awarded the first lot for the extension of Perfetti sweets production facility at Lainate.
Perfetti Van Melle, the unquestioned leader in the production and trading of chewing gum and candies, wants to completely renovate its headquarters - the historical factory located at Lainate, which was established in 1946 by the Perfetti brothers - in order to adjust its image to the level of the value of its brand.
The project involves the construction of a new automated warehouse, a picking area, a new office building, a reception building and winter garden, as well as the reorganization of the whole road system within the facility together with the provision of new parking spaces for the employees and the landscaping of the areas to the front of the factory. The buildings, which have a typical industrial style, will be enhanced by façade glass curtain walls and zinc-titan cladding.
The first phase of the construction is scheduled for completion in 15 months and includes the construction of the automated warehouse and the picking area with an overall volume of about 93.000 m3.
