Codest signs a contract with OAO Gazprom Transgaz Belarus (branch of PAO Gazprom, the world's largest oil & gas group) worth USD 233 million for the construction of the first phase of a multi-purpose complex in Minsk. The complex will also be the headquarters of the Group-owned Companies in Belarus. The contract also envisages the possibility of implementing the second phase of the project. The total value of the first and second phases will amount to over USD 600 million.
The first and second phases will be implemented in 36 months.
The complex, designed by the Russian company KB ViPS and the American company AECOM, consists of a 36-floor glass tower; a five-star hotel with 203 rooms and adjoining Conference Centre holding about 1,600 people, which will be operated by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group chain; 4 executive buildings; a shopping area with food court (planned areas for 11 different restaurants); a medical centre and a sports centre.
The total area is about 264,000 m² (of which approximately 80,000 are underground), for a total building volume of 1,335,000 m³
